I love the pattern on this dress, very subtle and I thought the chunky belt added the perfect touch.
I found this dress behind my bed (who knows…) and I thought what a perfect breezy, summer dress. I bought this dress about 5 years ago at Old Navy and commpletely forgot about it. I have tons of fun stuff planned for today (especially my plans for the evening) and it’s so humid out I thought this dress would be perfect.
I have made a couple of “fashion friends” through blogspot and this lady is definitely one of my favorites. Most of my fashion/style inspiration comes from blogs and street style and if you are the same you should check out her site. Tell her that Zoe LuLu sent cha.

- Thrifted and Vintage Necklace-You can wear this necklace several ways (which I love) and it can take a simple piece and make it chic, boho, or even elegant. I bought this necklace at Southern Thrift in Nashville, TN.
- Victoria’s Secret Chunky (Super High) Heels-These heels were a bit of a splurge and since I have been to New York I haven’t worn these but I just ran errands around the The Heights so I thought why not?!

Originally I was planning on throwing on some jeans and a slouchy sweater (due to the rainy weather) but I chucked this plan since the color red was calling me name. Grabbed my red skirt and went from there.
Today is also the first day I took my picture outside of the apartment and I have to say it felt pretty great! Even though it was taken in an alley behind my apartment..baby steps…
